I am aware of the problem, and have called my printer to get answers. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I intentionally paid extra for higher quality paper/cardboard, and am dissatisfied with the unexpected results.

I received this piece of advice from a client who is dealing with the same issue.
“Go in the shade and pour water on it every 5 minutes or so and it’ll come off easily.”
So I do believe it’s a heat-on-the-windshield issue. I’ll stay on top of it, though, and will keep everyone posted. Again, I do apologize.

Nothing like coming in from a grueling bike ride to find a flyer glued to your windshield. Obviously a heat-on-the-windshield issue. But, who would of thought it would get hot in Texas in July?
Well, that marketing effort is one way to ensure I’ll never have anything good to say about the Cycling Center of Dallas.

You know, I’m really sorry that you feel that way. It obviously was not intentional, and again, I paid extra for higher quality paper and print. We’ve been putting these out for weeks now, and this is the first time that this has happened. Unfortunately, my printer is only open M-F, so I’ll make sure they get the message, but I would respectfully ask that you reconsider your opinion. Come by the Cycling Center, see what we’re all about, and sign up for the TS101 class. You may be an experienced cyclist – but are you an educated one? There is a difference, and you may just get one little nugget that will make a difference out there in the real world.
Again, I’m sorry for your inconvenience. I was shocked at the vitriol and hate that North Texas cyclists are capable of, via voicemail and email, but honestly, when I spoke with most of you, the rhetoric was turned down quite a bit. Feel free to contact me directly, or come by the Center some time, and we’ll talk.
Just curious – did you read the content of the flyer at all?

Received a heartfelt personal apology (phone call) from a CCD representative for the glued-flyer-to-the-windshield issue. Wow, that doesn’t happen anymore. Apology accepted. I was wrong. I do have something good to say about CCD. Something went wrong and they had the class to personally acknowledge it to me. Above flame retracted.

With a mid 70s, cloudy start and a death valley ending to a great ride, the sticker seemed like a nonproblem. Dumped a bottle of water on it and the windshield wiper fluid did the rest. Goatneck had alot of hills, ez ones though and the sponsors lifted my mood – big time.

Yeah, again – I’m really sorry that this happened, and it’s not the message I was trying to get across.
